Basketane and Basketene
Some substances especially among organic ones have structures that their shapes somehow resemble well-known entities in our environment. Basketane and basketene with the molecular formulae C10H12 and C10H10 respectively are two of such substances with molecular structures resembling a basket shape and as a result, a portmanteau of basket and alkane in the case of alkane one and a portmanteau of basket and alkene in the case of alkene one have been used to name them.
